ABOUT PIG POUNDER BREWERY

Pig Pounder Brewery is a microbrewery, bar and entertainment pavilion that opened in 2014 in the Midtown section of Greensboro. It's part of Kick Ass Concepts, a restaurant and entertainment branch of the Kotis companies owned and operated by Marty Kotis, a Greensboro developer, restaurateur and entrepreneur. Specializing in English ales, Pig Pounder's flagship brew is Boar Brown, an English brown ale that won the Gold Award from the international World Beer Cup in 2016, and a gold medal in the 2017 World Drink Awards for Best English Brown Ale in the World. Other house-made selections include Year of the Pig, a honey saison; The Tripping Pigs, an American IPA; and Hop Hog, a West Coast-style IPA. The brews are carried across North Carolina, including in Raleigh and Durham.

ABOUT KOTIS STREET ART

Kotis Street Art is a collection of more than 100 murals curated by Greensboro developer, restaurateur and entrepreneur Marty Kotis. His initial efforts included artwork for restaurant interiors and exteriors in 2010, which led to work with local artists and curators who were seeking walls. By 2017, he was curating and recruiting international artists, including Australian street artist AdnateBellaPhame, a husband-and-wife art collective from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and Brooklyn, New York; Spanish artist Miquel Angel Belinchon Bujes, who goes by BelinGroovycosta of Barcelona, Spain; French artist JR; the Greek muralist Insane51; and Sipros, a street artist from São Paulo, Brazil. Self-guided tours are available through the Kotis Street Art website.
